Christian Education
Board of Education
The Board of Christian Education upholds the mission and vision of the Christian Education Ministry through planning and implementing programs of study and education for all phases of Christian Education at The People’s Community Baptist Church.
Church School
The Church School’s mission is to recruit and develop souls for Christ. This is accomplished through quality Bible teaching, training, in worship, in service, and in sharing one’s faith.

The young people praise and worship the Lord during Youth Church held on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sundays.
Cooperative Nursery
“Let the children come to me, and do not stop them, because the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Mark 10:14). The Cooperative Nursery provides a place where children can begin to learn about the life of Jesus and our Baptist faith while the parents are in worship service—receiving God’s Word. The children may be involved in activities that include Christian videos, songs, arts and crafts, and group play.
Tuesday Night Bible Study
The challenge of Tuesday Night Bible Study classes for children, youth, and adults is to encourage obedience to the scriptures by studying to show ourselves approved. In doing so, we apply Biblical principles in our daily living experiences, which reflect our attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors. These inevitably, affect the way we relate to each other. In this endeavor, we pray that Christ is glorified, and we pray his manner is personified.
Scholarship Committee
The Scholarship Committee provides funds to graduating high school seniors who are active in the church and to full-time undergraduates who meet the application requirements. The J.P. Baltimore Scholarship is one of the many scholarships offered.
Stewardship Committee
The mission of the Stewardship Committee is to model, encourage, and promote the responsible management of all resources—our time, our talents, and our treasure—entrusted to us by God. The committee’s focus is to nurture the spirit of Christian stewardship, to expand the level of participation, and to grow the commitment of resources.
